This new edition aims to continue the success of the first edition, with new inspiring examples of how our daily lives, environments and experiences can be transformed. As with the first edition, the New European Bauhaus Awards 2022 will reward ideas from young talents as well as existing projects that excel in the areas of sustainability, inclusiveness and aesthetics and bring the European Green Deal to people and local communities.
The four categories
The awards will be given to projects and ideas that contribute to a beautiful, sustainable and inclusive living environment. These are the four categories:
reconnecting with nature;
regaining a sense of belonging;
prioritising the places and people that need it most;
encouraging long-term, life-cycle and inclusive thinking in the industrial ecosystem.
The deadline for applications is 19.00 on 28 February 2022. Your nationality and background are irrelevant as long as your concepts, ideas and projects were developed in the EU or are physically located there.
