Embassy of Food conference

During the conference, we focus on that we can (re)know and (re)appreciate the differences in our qualities. Because everyone is different and acts differently, and especially in very complex transitions, we cannot all oversee the whole picture yet. But the good news is: we don’t have to be able to do it all ourselves either. It is precisely if we deploy that diversity of design qualities and knowledge, and give space to each other’s creative power, we can start a bigger movement together.

That is why the Embassy of Food conference brings together 100 experts from the food sector and design world to make new connections and thus work together on a new vision and approach when it comes to the future of our food system. Indeed, from the Embassy of Food, we believe that everyone we bring together is an important part in the search for a total solution. Just as healthy soil consists of various micro-organisms working together and reinforcing each other, we want to connect and integrate existing fragments of knowledge and expertise for an innovative way of looking at things. Complex challenges require diverse perspectives; by bringing together a mix of skills and expertise, we can thus look at and act on the challenge differently.
